TOEFL

TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is a test administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) of United States in order to test the English language capabilities of non-native English speakers who wish to study in the United States. The test is widely used by Universities in the US and around the world to admit foreign students to their programs.

Validity:

Each TOEFL test is valid for a period of 2 years. 

What to expect:

TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) has four sections:

  • Reading : Read articles, analyze and provide responses to questions
  • Listening: Listen to lectures/discussions and provide responses to questions
  • Speaking: Talk about a topic provided
  • Writing: Read, listen and provide your responses
The total test takes about 3 hours to finish.

Scores are available 6 days after you take the test.
